General Communication / Updates:

We primarily communicate updates on our leagues Facebook page at Greater Hudson Little League. If you haven't already, go ahead and "like" us to stay informed on important announcements. You can DM us there for info but be sure and read this page closely as we'll redirect you here for answers if they are documented below. Secondly, we monitor the email at [email protected] closely. There is a phone number posted, but we do not monitor the phone as diligently because we are all volunteers and have normal jobs/commitments.

Registration Summary & Dates:

GHLL offers 2 seasons annually: Spring and Fall. If you create a FREE account on this website, you'll receive an email reminder when we open and close registration.

Practices will begin - your coach will let you know when practices start but will be shortly after the draft. All baseball players need to be drafted to a team and are REQUIRED to attend a skill assessment (evaluation). These are not tryouts, but an opportunity to assess each player's skill to ensure competitive balance and safety. These drafts will be posted prominently for each age division.		The Fall season is primarily focused on instruction and player development. This is a great time to reinforce the fundamentals and prepare for the more competitive Spring season. This is also the time players should consider moving up to the next division (if age-appropriate).

Games/Practices (when, how often etc)?

Expect 10-12 games depending on weather in Spring (8-10 in Fall). Typically you will play 1-2 games weekly. Practice schedules are coordinated with Coaches once teams are drafted and may change to accommodate game schedules. You will typically practice 1-2 times weekly, pending game schedules.

Where are games played?

GHLL is located at 11611 Denton Ave, Hudson, FL 34667. All Home Games will be played at our fields. We do interleague with other leagues in our district and play at their fields as well. Not all divisions will play all leagues within out district.

I have multiple children. Will they play on the same team?

If your children are both in the same age division, YES, they will be placed on the same team.

Can I request a coach for my child to play for?

As a general rule, no. Teams are formed fairly through a draft. Special situations can be discussed with the Board of Directors, but exceptions are not guaranteed.

How do I get more involved with the league?

We are always looking for amazing volunteers. Please reach out to a Board member to discuss how you can help.
